Errors "1004" and "1011" both mean your computer does not know which program to use to open the AD Toolbox
information files ending in a file name extension of .pdf.
The installation of any Adobe Reader should have automatically made this connection and association.
But if you are getting errors "1004" and "1011", you will need to manually train your computer which program to
use by following the steps listed below:
(1) From the Auto Run Screen, click on "Browse DVD Files"
to open a Windows Explorer window.
(2) Scroll down to the bottom of the right half of the Explorer
window, Right-Click then Left Click "Properties" from the
list that appears.
(3) Close to the top of the "AD Toolbox Properties" window that appears:
"Type of file" will say "Unknown".
We will correct that by clicking on the "Change" Button to the right of "Opens With" and selecting and Adobe
Reader from the list of programs that is shown and clicking "OK" at the window bottom.
(4) Now you can close all the extra windows until you see the Autorun Window with the picture of the
biplanes, and click on "Run The AD Toolbox" Button.
