Getting an Adobe Error?
The problem is most likely that you have an out-dated version of Adobe Reader. Many people are
using Adobe Reader 5, which needs to be upgraded to Reader 7.
Here's HOW TO UPGRADE:
1. Run the A.D. Toolbox program.
2. On the red toolbox, click the
Support Center & General Help drawer. -->
3. Click "Going Back".
4. Click the Adobe Reader 7 box (about half-way down the page).
5. Follow the installation instructions and click FINISH when done.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. Now you should un-install the OLD Adobe Reader (5 or 6).
a. At bottom left of screen, click START.
b. Click Control Panel. Then Add Remove Programs.
c. Select the OLD Adobe Reader (5 or 6) from the list and hit the 'remove' button.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. If you still get an Error 1011, then you have to create a "file association". It's easy, here's how:
a. Insert your AD Toolbox disc.
b. On the Auto Run window, click Browse DVD Files button.
c. Right-click on the file titled The AD Toolbox.pdf & choose Properties.
d. Next to Opens With, click the Change button.
e. Choose Adobe Reader 7 from the list and hit OK. Done! Now your computer will open all
PDF files with Reader 7.
